Spend the evening in Battery Park City listening to eclectic voices presented by Asian American Writers’ Workshop. This event will be a reading with a conversation with poets on their ruminations and thoughts on love, queer and otherwise. The lineup will feature Wo Chan, Jasmine Reid, Xan Forest Phillips, and Devyn Manibo.

Singer/songwriter Terre Roche leads this weekly singing program with the beautiful backdrop of the setting sun over the Hudson. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned crooner, the singing circle is perfect for mellow melodies and healthy harmonizing.
Paint in watercolor or use pastels and other drawing materials to capture the magical vistas of the Hudson River and the unique landscape of South Cove. An artist/educator will help participants of all levels with instruction and critique. Materials provided, and artists are encouraged to bring their own favorite media.
In celebration of Pride month, BPCA presents Drag Story Hour, a fun and fabulous educational experience that celebrates gender diversity and all forms of difference to build empathy and give kids the confidence to express themselves however they feel comfortable.
Strengthen the whole body from warm-up to cool-down with various fun exercises. The instructor will lead you in rhythmic movement and aerobics, balance and coordination exercises, as well as strength training. Come join the group and workout to great music!
Calling all toddlers! Play is the cornerstone of early childhood development, and playing together is a great way to build a community of young children and caregivers.
Co-presented with the Battery park City Library, join us for a weekly writing session led by Author and Poet Jon Curley. Taking inspiration from life events, participants will be encouraged to use reflection as a way to enhance their writing styles in any preferred mode.
