YOUNG SPROUTS GARDENING

2:15 -2:45 PM, ROCKEFELLER PARK
An introduction to organic gardening for children 3-5 years old with accompanying adults. This program will offer weekly themes and activities geared for young children to enjoy BPCA's organic gardening practices. Activities will focus on the ways we can celebrate how beneficial insects, birds and plants interact in our unique urban garden.
• This is a free, drop-in program with no pre-registration required, and the program is conducted as space allows.
• Masks and contact information required upon arrival. No program 5/31.
• Participants must maintain six feet of physical distance between households.
• All programs will be held in accordance with New York State reopening guidance.

GARDENING CLUB

FREE PROGRAM: REGISTRATION REQUIRED, SPACE IS LIMITED.
3-4PM, ROCKEFELLER PARK
This program will offer school-aged children the opportunity to experience first-hand how to tend a garden guided by BPCA's organic practices. Participants will be assigned garden beds to plant, cultivate, and maintain. Fun activities, like harvesting, art activities, and garden journaling will augment the program. For ages 6-10.
• This is a free, drop-off program with pre-registration required, email registration@bpca.ny.gov.
• A two-month commitment to the program is a minimum requirement for participation.
• The program is limited to space, and will be held in accordance with New York State reopening guidance.

SOCCER (AGES 3-5)

3-4PM, ROCKEFELLER PARK
Kick start your afternoon with seasonal recreation activities! Practice the basics of sports with fun and challenging games and drills for all levels. Skill-building sessions focused on balance, coordination, and awareness. Closed-toe shoes and soccer ball required.
