For nearly a quarter-century, the NYC Police Memorial has paid solemn tribute to those officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. In close consultation with NYPD, the Memorial is now being expanded to honor additional officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Designed by Stuart Crawford, original architect of the work in the 1990s, and utilizing distinctive green granite from the same quarry, renderings of the expanded memorial are pictured above.
NYC Police Memorial expansion was completed in July 2022.
