UPDATE (2) 7/8/19: Kowsky Plaza Playground has reopened.

UPDATE 6/25/19: Completion of this work has been delayed by heavy rains over the past week. New target date for completion is July 4.

This week, BPCA starts resurfacing work at Kowsky playground. This project entails installation of a new safety surface to replace the existing one, in place since the playground opened in 2005.

The Kowsky Plaza “Sirius” Dog Run will be open during the entirety of this effort. The dog run’s western gate may be closed intermittently to accommodate ongoing work but its eastern entrance will be remain open at all times.

The Kowsky Playground Resurfacing Project will take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting.
