BPC DID YOU KNOW? | BALL FIELDS TERRACE WATERPROOFING & RESTORATION PROJECT

UPDATE: The BPC Ball Fields Terrace re-opened to the public the week of November 19, 2021.

The Ball Fields Terrace Waterproofing and Restoration Project is designed to alleviate chronic, long-term water infiltration issues at the Battery Park City Community Center at 212 North End Avenue.

On-schedule for completion in Fall 2021, this project includes demolition and removal of existing paving and terrace overburden to expose the below waterproofing, and furnishing and installation of the necessary waterproofing prior to restoration of all affected areas.

To minimize operational impacts and public access to the community center administered by Asphalt Green, some interior project work has been conducted during overnight hours.
