"Battery Park City and the Authority are not just about the buildings – it’s about the character of the community that has developed over time. Public space has had a new renaissance in New York City, but here in Battery Park City is where it started."

ONE SMALL ASK: PLEASE WEAR A MASK

Keep it up, Battery Park City! It’s up to all of us to fight the spread of COVID-19.

And we’re not done yet – as the weather continues to improve we’ll need to stay diligent and disciplined. Remember: Pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order, everyone over the age of two and medically able must cover their nose and mouth with a mask or cloth face-covering when in a public place and not maintaining a distance of at least six feet from others.

You’ll see signage throughout Battery Park City as reminders about these rules, and BPC Ambassadors will continue working with our partners at NYPD’s 1st Precinct to help keep our parks safe and accessible to all.

It really is a small ask: Please wear a mask!
