"Battery Park City and the Authority are not just about the buildings – it’s about the character of the community that has developed over time. Public space has had a new renaissance in New York City, but here in Battery Park City is where it started."

NORTH BATTERY PARK CITY RESILIENCY PROJECT: PUBLIC MEETING #2

The North Battery Park City Resiliency (NBPCR) project will span BPC’s North Esplanade and entail a deployable barrier crossing West Street / Route 9A. This area represents one of BPC’s (and Lower Manhattan’s) most vulnerable points for storm surge inundation and flooding.

Please join BPCA, Manhattan Community Board 1, and the AECOM project team for the next public meeting about NBPCR. The session will include project updates followed by a Q&A session.

View the presentation and archived video from our first public meeting last October.
